Computer-Aided Design for Architecture and Engineering CAD certification

The Computer-Aided Design for Architecture and Engineering CAD certification program only consists of CAD and related courses. It trains students to work as computer-aided drafters and designers in the industry and to update the skills of those already employed as drafters reasonably quickly. In addition, the ServiceNow CAD certification program also enhances candidate skills in many professional opportunities such as 3D modelling, architectural drawing, and animation. Computer-aided design (CAD) credentials can be useful for talented artists who want to use their skills in the fields of architecture or civil engineering and in application development. Students who get this certificate successfully will be able to:

  • create and revise CAD drawings in 2D and 3D formats;
  • layout multi-view drawings at standard designated scales;
  • utilize AutoCAD effectively to create well-organized drawing files;
  • use industry terminology and standards to create technical drawings; and
  • Create a portfolio of technical drawings using industry standard software with accurate dimensioning and details.

The AutoCAD Operator Designer Certificate trains candidates for entry-level jobs as technicians, operators, and detailers. Your application for a professional CAD certification, such as the American Design Drafting Association’s certified drafter credential, will be better prepared if you have a certificate (ADDA). You typically require 1,000 hours of practical training (which your CAD certificate typically covers) or work experience to apply. If you retake the exam or can demonstrate consistent employment in the industry, you can extend the validity of your CAD certification, which is good for about five years. By obtaining a certificate from an approved institution and applying for professional certification in your field of interest, you can become professionally certified in CAD. There are various certification paths you can take in CAD.

Candidates who have successfully finished their 10+2 or equivalent education from a recognized board in any stream with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% are eligible to apply. Furthermore, enroll in our course for further information and preparation for CAD certification.
