Certified Kubernetes Security Specialists (CKS) certification is performance-based that checks candidates’ knowledge about Kubernetes and cloud security. Getting certifications in CKS doesn’t mean you have become an expert in Kubernetes. But it means you get enough knowledge and information in Kubernetes to succeed in this career. It is better than any other individual with zero knowledge in this field. CKS has a security container-based application and Kubernetes platform.
Moreover, CKS is more challenging compared to k8s exams because you have 2 hours to solve 15 to 20 real-life scenarios. The CKS certification exam is not the same as other multiple choice questions exams. It is based on an actual event and demands deep knowledge to solve these complex tasks. To aid applicants in preparing for the CKS exam and for the advantage of businesses that provide training, CNCF has made the curriculum that the test was built around open source. The CKS certification exam requires 67% to pass the exam with the v1.24 Kubernetes version. It is a $395 certification with two years of validity.
